Rita Webb was born and raised in New England, where her family’s heritage, on her mother’s side, goes back to the 1600’s. In this part of the country, steeped in local lore, it is practically against the law not to believe in unexplained phenomena. She inherited her sense of humor and love for mystery from her mother, and her healthy respect for the mystical from her father, who was born in Cuba. Now splitting her time between Rhode Island and Florida, Rita brings her admiration for dark and stormy nights, all things ethereal, and anything with the word Mystery in it to the brightness of the Sunshine State. As a student of healing arts and proud graduate of an Angel Communications class, she knows that things are not always what they seem to be, and that answers can be found in the most astonishing places. Follow along for the first Julia Novo Mystery, An Offer to Die For, as the main characters navigate both real estate and otherworldly transactions. Rita’s cat, Raven, approves this message.
